Lynne was born and spent her early years in Yorkshire. She first discovered Yoga while a student in Scarborough. Later, after giving birth to her first daughter, she returned to Yoga and found it helped her regain suppleness. By now the study had acquired more significance for Lynne as she began to realise its deeper meaning.

Lynne moved to Norfolk with her family in 1994. Here she was lucky to meet an inspirational teacher in Annie Knights who persuaded her to make Yoga her career. With Annie's encouragement, Lynne achieved her British Wheel of Yoga diploma in 2003. Since then she has developed a very successful practice running classes both privately and based at various leisure centres in and around Norwich.

Lynne has an eclectic approach to Yoga, incorporating a range of styles into her teaching. She often introduces readings from yogic texts and meditation exercises into her classes.

Lynne travelled to India in 2006 to practice Yoga with a Sivananda trained teacher. While there she visited the Sivananda Ashram to absorb some of its history and philosophy; valuable experience she now shares with her students.
